My name is Jeneise Briggs. Born and raised in the cool hills of Bethany District, Alexandria, St. Ann Jamaica. I now reside in the United States. I’m the proud mom of a bubbly bright eye nine-month-old. Her name is Brianna Eda-May Briggs. I’ll share the story behind her name in one of my blogs ( please remind if I forget). Similarly, I’m the wonderful wife of an amazing gentleman, Russell Briggs. He’s the ‘patty to my coco bread’. Fellow Jamaicans would understand that term. Simply put, he’s my God ordained better half.
I love God. He’s the center of my world. Without him, I’m like a phone without a battery. I love food, people, movies, reading and SHOPPING.
I’m the only child for my mom (who passed away in 2014 at the age of 45+) and the second out of I think 10 for my dad. My mom and my grandmother raised me in the absence of my father. Both women have been phenomenal role models and mentors for me. My grandmother passed away in 2012 at the age of 87. I miss them dearly. Fond memories of both women keep me sane.
