Positive Circle...
Hi lovelies,
I hope everyone is having a great weekend. My weekend kicked off to an amazing start last evening. As you know, my husband celebrated his birthday last evening. We had Japanese cuisine at a place called 'Ginza of Tokyo'. I have to tell you guys, the food was amazing. I'm not a huge fan of steak but believe me I cleaned it off my plate. I had shrimp, chicken, steak, fried rice, and sauted vegestables. The food was done 'Hibachi' style. We had our own private dinning area and a personal chef. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening with amazing friends and their families. The evening was jam packed with laughter and good vibes. My main concern was my wig or my baby being caught on fire. So, typical Jeneise had to make it know to the chef, "be careful of my wig and my baby with all that fire you're throwing around'. I had to be very clear about that. Of course, the room errupted with laughter but I was very serious (covers face). In any event, I've decided to have my birthday dinner at this restaurant. Everyone asked, "when is your birthday?" I said, "December". Again, the room errupted in laughter. The chef said, "December! that's almost a year!" Oh well, I'll just hold on to my 31 years of age for as long as I can :).
About my friends
Russ and I were joined by two of my dearest friends here in Wisconsin, Veronica and Ekaterina. Veronica is African-American and Ekaterina is Russian. Both ladies have been instrumental in my life. They've journey with me through my divorce, the death of my mom, the birth of my daughter and my second marriage. They've seen me at my lowest and my best. I wouldn't trade them for the world. I'm happy and blessed to have two genuine ladies right here in my circle. Recently, our combined families went bowling and last evening dinner. Each time we had a blast. From Brianna sucking on her chicken bone, to Madison getting gutter balls (bowling), to Kendrick using chop sticks, we've just bonded over the little things in life. I look forward to even more fun times together... either girls night out catching a movie or family gathering.
Ps. When you have a positive circle even if it's one person it can make life even more fullfilling.
Here's what I wore. Ps. It was dark inside the resturant
Dress Windsor
Shoes Same pink one in previous blog
Faux fur coat Forever21
Necklace same from previous blog post
Ps. When choosing items in your wardrobe make sure it is not a one time wear unless you specifically want an item for a particular purpose. For example, an ugly Christmas sweater
